The Challenge
Nordvik's existing fleet software was a monolithic .NET application built in 2014. It crashed under load during peak shipping seasons, lacked real-time GPS tracking, and required manual data entry for compliance reports.
Our Solution
We designed an event-driven microservices architecture on AWS with Apache Kafka for real-time telemetry ingestion. A custom WebSocket layer pushes live vehicle positions to dispatch dashboards with under 200ms latency.
